The Gambler – Series 77

I built this kit some time ago and it was one of the very first ‘large’ scale metal figure kits I bought.

Part of a famous line of 80mm metal kits that were notorious for getting the body proportions slightly wrong – the legs were always a little short for the torso. On advice and using a tutorial in a magazine, I added pieces to lengthen the legs (which was the first conversion work I ever did)

I owned three other Series 77 kits of Native American Indians but I decided the sculpting wasn’t really good enough to invest the time in building them and I sold them last year.
